TLM Selected for Parliament
On the 25th November TLM Laser was one of only 15 companies nationwide to be invited to the Houses of Parliament. The occasion was the BT Parliamentary Showcase on Fibre Broadband: Making Your Local Business Global.
The Showcase was an opportunity for Members of Parliament to meet successful small and medium businesses (SMEs) from around the country. The focus was on fibre broadband and its contribution to business success. TLM Laser co-founder and director Andy Toms and Steph Gagen attended the event. Our photo here shows Andy and Steph in conversation with our Bromsgrove office’s local MP, Sajid Javid.
More speed, more service
Fibre broadband has played a significant role in TLM Laser’s success. The high speeds it offers has allowed us to become more web-based which in turn has made significant improvements in our communications, both internally and externally. The end result has been an improved service for our customers.
Our telephone system is VOIP-based, so that wherever anyone in TLM works, they have a single voice and email platform. All of our regional offices are connected to a central server. This allows us to generate reliable and accurate customer quotations on the spot. In the past, it could take us up to a week to deliver a full written quote.
There’s more to come. We’ll shortly install a web-based CRM system to improve our customer communications even further. We are also currently developing an eCommerce section for the website so that you can select and buy our laser safety products directly online.
All of us at TLM were very proud to be invited to the Houses of Parliament. We think that the invitation said a lot about our standards of customer service and the contribution these standards have made to our success.
