Fibre laser cutting is a non-contact process that uses a focused, high-powered laser beam to cut through metal materials with exceptional precision. Unlike CO₂ laser systems, which rely on gas excitation and complex optical mirrors, fibre lasers utilise a fully solid-state design. The laser light is generated and transmitted through a flexible optical fibre directly to the cutting head, eliminating the need for mirrors and beam adjustments.
