Ergonomic laser gun

At the sharp end of LightWELD is its ergonomically designed laser gun with built-in wobble welding functionality. Proven to be the most comfortable and easy to use laser gun, it has a 2-step trigger and part control sensor to ensure operator safety.

Purpose-built nozzle tips are available for various weld joint types and pre- and post-weld cleaning applications.

The system can quickly switch from laser welding to wire welding and from laser welding to laser cleaning.

Fast set-up

Clearly labelled connections at the rear of the base unit make getting started fast and easy.

An ethernet computer connection gives access to advanced parameter settings allowing operators to fine tune these parameters and then save them.

Carrying the CE mark, LightWELD is compliant with EU legislation and meets EU safety, health and environmental regulations.

Operator safety has been a priority in LightWELD’s development with a range of protective features. These include a key switch control to secure the system from unauthorised use.

As well as the 2-step weld gun trigger there’s an emergency stop button for immediate shut down.

A door switch interlock circuit shuts down the laser if anyone other than the operator enters the welding area.

A safety interlock verifies the integrity of laser delivery to the welding gun. A part contact electrical interlock turns off the laser power if the welding head is not in contact with the welded parts.
